Stun The Sun

We are located right on Wood Street in Kolkata, just opposite the Saturday Club. If you know the area, you know it has a certain feel to it, being near number 6. Stun The Sun is basically our daily life. We spend a lot of time in the shop, watching the cars go by and the people walking to the club. Kolkata can be a very bright and sunny place, so we started this because it just made sense for the weather here. The building we are in has some character, and we try to keep our little corner of it looking alright without spending a fortune on decorations. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers who have been with us for years. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate thing. We prefer to just talk to people normally when they come in. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, while other days everyone seems to show up at the exact same time. We have to keep an eye on the inventory and make sure nothing gets too dusty. It’s a lot of cleaning and organizing, to be honest. Wood Street is a good place to be, even if parking can be a real headache for everyone. We just show up every morning, open the locks, and wait to see who the day brings in. It is a steady way to live.
