Sparkz Restaurant

If you’re heading down Diamond Harbour Road in Alipore, you’ll find Sparkz Restaurant at number 35. We are located right near the Majer Hat Bridge, which is a big landmark around here. Kolkata traffic can be a mess, so we get a lot of people stopping in just to take a break from the road. The restaurant isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside, but we try to keep it comfortable inside. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see some of us sitting at the back when it's slow. We’ve been at this spot for several years now. The menu has the usual stuff you’d expect. Sometimes we get a bit behind when a large group shows up unannounced, but we manage. We aren't trying to win any awards or anything, we just want to serve decent food to the people in the Alipore area. The bridge construction or repairs sometimes make it tricky to get here, but once you’re inside, it’s fine. We have a few regular tables that are always taken by the same guys every afternoon. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood. We don’t do much advertising, mostly just people seeing the sign as they drive by. It’s just how things are at Sparkz. We keep the floor swept and the lights on for whoever needs a meal. It's a basic place for a basic lunch.
