Royal Bengal Restaurant is located at 30A on Lenin Sarani in the Dharmatala area. A good way to find us is to look for the Jyoti Cinema, as we are right near it. This part of Kolkata, 700013, is pretty much as central as it gets. Lenin Sarani is always packed with buses and trams and people rushing to get to work or the market. Our door at 30A is just one of many along this busy street. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but the cinema is still a landmark people use. The restaurant isn't particularly fancy or modern; it’s got a bit of that old Dharmatala character to it. We don’t use any of those big marketing words to describe ourselves. We are just a place where people can sit down and get something to eat in the middle of a busy day. It can get loud with the horns honking outside, but that’s just part of being on Lenin Sarani. Most of our customers are just people who are already in the area for shopping or work. We keep things simple and don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a local spot near the cinema, and we just keep the lights on and the food ready. People know where we are, and that is enough for us to keep going.
