Ristorante Punjab

We started Ristorante Punjab right here on Rash Behari Ave because we liked the spot near Priya Cinema. Being at 107 A puts us in a busy part of the city. We see people coming in after seeing a movie or coming from Wockhard Hospital. It gets noisy outside on Sarat Bose Road, but inside it’s different. We focus on the food and just getting the orders out right. It isn’t fancy here. We use the same recipes we’ve had for years. Some days the kitchen gets a bit hot, but that's how it is when you're cooking for a crowd. Our staff lives nearby and they know the regulars. We don't spend much time on decorations. The chairs are sturdy and the tables are clean. If you're walking around 700029, you'll probably see our sign. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the traffic outside is a mess, but people still find their way to us. We’ve been at this for a while now. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just us here every day, making sure the stove is hot and the food is ready when someone sits down. It's a lot of work but it keeps us busy. We don't do anything special, just food for the people who live and work around this part of town. Most of our customers come from the neighborhood or are visiting the hospital nearby. We just keep doing what we know.
