Ratnakar Inn

We are located at 14/1 Sarat Bose Road, which is a pretty well-known spot in Kolkata. The building has been here for a while, and we’ve been running the inn out of it for just as long. It’s a busy street, so there’s always something happening outside the front door. We aren't a massive hotel with hundreds of rooms. It’s more of a quiet place where you can come and stay without too much trouble. We get a lot of people who are here for work or maybe just visiting the city for a few days. The rooms are basic, but we keep the beds clean and make sure everything works. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and Sarat Bose Road is no different. You can hear the yellow taxis honking outside most of the time. We try to make it feel a bit more relaxed once you step inside. Our staff is local, so they know the neighborhood well and can tell you where to find a cup of tea nearby. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the address on the door. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it’s how we like it. Staying here is just simple. No complicated check-in processes or anything like that. We just give you a key and let you go about your day. It’s been this way for years and we don't plan on changing much at all.
