Oasis Restaurant

If you find yourself on 2 Madge Lane, you will see Oasis Restaurant. We are in the 700016 area, which is a part of the city that is always moving. The restaurant is tucked away in a spot that’s been our home for a long time. It’s not a big, spread-out place, but we make the most of the space we have. Most days, we are busy from the moment we open the doors until we finally close up at night. The lane can get pretty narrow and crowded, so there is always something interesting going on outside. Inside, we just focus on the cooking and making sure the customers have a place to sit. We don't have any corporate office or big management team. It’s just us doing the work. The walls have some marks and the floor is worn down in places, but that just shows how many people have been through here. We spend our time prepping vegetables, cleaning the stove, and talking to the people who stop by. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in town. We just want to serve food and keep the business going. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up, but that’s how it is when you run a local place. We don't have a website or fancy menus. We just rely on the people who live and work nearby to keep us busy.
