We’ve been here at P K Guha Road for a while now. Most days start early with the big pots getting ready for the lunch crowd. If you know where the UCO Bank ATM is in Dum Dum, we are right across from that on the ground floor. It’s a busy spot. People stop by for a quick plate or take something home for their family dinner. We don't have fancy chairs or expensive decor, just the food we make. The street outside gets really crowded, especially in the evenings with all the commuters. We just keep the kitchen going and try to get the orders out as fast as we can. Sometimes it’s noisy with all the traffic and horns, but that’s just how it is around here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the way we cook hasn't changed much at all. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. If you are walking past the bank, you can usually smell the spices from the sidewalk. We don't spend any money on big signs or ads. Most people find us because they live nearby or work in the local shops. It’s a simple setup. We use the same ingredients every day. Nothing special, just a local spot for a meal. The address is 14/48/1, right there on the main road. We keep the place clean as much as we can while being busy. It’s hard work being on your feet all day by the stove, but we are used to it now. Just a regular day for us.
