This place is located up on the 5th floor of Block-A in the 22 Camac Street building. Being in the Park Street area of Kolkata, things are always moving fast. This unit is part of the Esskay Leasing and Finance setup, but it has its own feel once you get inside. The elevator can be a bit slow during the lunch hour when everyone in the building is trying to get somewhere. Up here, it’s a bit quieter than the street level, but you can still hear the city if the windows are open. We spend our days mostly looking at paperwork or talking to people who come up to see us. It’s a professional space but we don't keep it too stiff. There are always tea cups on the desks and people chatting in the hallway. The 700016 area is the heart of the city, and we've been here long enough to know all the local shopkeepers downstairs. We don't have a big reception desk with a fancy logo. It’s just an office where work gets done. Sometimes the rain hits the windows hard during the monsoon, and we all just stop to watch for a minute. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by, even if the parking is a total nightmare for everyone. We have a few plants by the window that struggle a bit because of the AC, but they stay alive. We mostly use the stairs.
