Lloyds Bearing Corp

We are located in Marshall House, which is a well-known building on N S Road in Calcutta. Our office is room 515 on the 33/1 side. The building is quite old and has a lot of character, with high ceilings and long hallways that seem to go on forever. We’ve been here for many years now, focusing on the bearing trade. The room is packed with heavy shelves that hold all types of industrial bearings. It’s a bit dusty because of all the old papers and boxes piled up, but we don't mind. We still use some old methods for our record-keeping because they work well for us. The windows are large but they let in a lot of the city noise. Calcutta is a busy place and you can feel it even up here on the fifth floor. We have regular customers who come by just to chat as much as to buy parts. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. You just walk in and we see what you need. The tea seller comes by every morning and afternoon, which is a nice break for us. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, which is supplying bearings to whoever needs them. It’s a simple, honest business and we are happy to be part of the history of this old building. We spend our days answering the phone and checking the ledgers.
