Libra Leathers

We have been here at T-1D/2 on Anjuman Road for a good stretch of time now. The street gets pretty busy in the mornings, especially when the sun starts hitting the front of the shop. If you walk in, you’ll notice the smell of leather right away. It’s a heavy scent that stays on your clothes long after you leave, but we’ve gotten used to it. The shelves are mostly piled high with rolls of different skins and scraps we haven't found a use for yet. It isn’t the tidiest place, to be honest. There is always a bit of dust on the windows and the floor could probably use a good sweep more often than it gets one. Most days, we are just in the back working on whatever orders came in that week. It’s quiet work for the most part, unless the radio is on. We know most of the people who walk past our door every day. The tea guy knows exactly how we like it, which helps on the slow afternoons. Sometimes the light in the back flickers a bit, but we know exactly where the switch is to give it a tap. It’s just how things are around here. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or making the place look like a showroom. It’s a workspace first and foremost. People come in, they see what we have, and we talk through what they need. That’s about it.
