You can find us over at 2 Suhrawardy Avenue. It’s a pretty decent street, and we’ve been here at this address for a while now. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of leather. It’s a strong, earthy scent that stays with you. We work with all sorts of fashion items made from leather, mostly jackets and bags. The space is a bit of a mix between an office and a workshop. We have racks of samples lined up along the walls, and there’s always some leather scraps on the floor from when we’re checking the materials. We don't really do the big fashion show stuff. We just focus on the items themselves and making sure they look right. Suhrawardy Avenue has its own pace, and we fit right into it. Sometimes people stop by thinking we are a retail shop, but we’re mostly focused on the business side of things here. Our desks are covered in swatches and sketches. It’s a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering emails to packing up a special order. The lighting isn’t the best, but it works for what we need. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things moving. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we’re happy to be doing it here on this avenue.
