Ledertech International

We’re right at 1 Chandni Chowk Street. Being in this part of the city means we’re surrounded by history and a lot of noise. Ledertech International has been here for a while, and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy. We work with leather and technical materials, so the office often has that specific smell of tanned hides. It’s a small operation. We don't have a reception desk or anyone to answer the door in a uniform. You just walk in and find us working. The street outside is always packed with people and carts, so getting anything delivered can be a bit of a challenge. We’ve learned to plan around the busiest times of the day. Our work involves a lot of looking at the hides and talking to the people who make them. We don't use much technology beyond the basics. Most of what we do is based on the relationships we’ve built over the years. It’s a bit dusty and the floors are worn down, but it’s where we get our work done. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just focus on the leather and making sure the orders are correct. It’s a tough business sometimes, but we like being in the middle of all the action on Chandni Chowk Street. The tea seller across the road knows our order by heart and brings it over at ten.
