We've been here at Topsia Road for quite a while now. It's a busy spot and we are located right at 10/1/1A. Ahmed Tannery is mostly about processing leather. It’s a lot of hard work, and the smell of the hides is just part of the day-to-day life here. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop and the machines. People around here know us as a regular place where work gets done. My grandfather started something similar years ago, and it just kept going. We handle different types of skins, and it gets messy, but that's the job. The South Topsia area has changed, but we are still here doing the same thing. Most days, we are just busy with the tanning process, checking the vats and making sure things are moving along. It isn't a glamorous business. You get your hands dirty every single day. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what they are supposed to do. We don't spend money on ads or big signs. Usually, people find us because they need leather for shoes or bags and they heard we are around. It is just a straightforward operation. We wake up, come to the shop, and get to it. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, especially when it's raining a lot, but we manage. If you are walking down Topsia Road (South), you'll see us. We are just a local business trying to do the work and stay busy.
