Leather Age

If you ever find yourself walking down Golam Jilani Khan Road, you will probably find us at number 26/5. It is Leather Age. You can usually tell you are close because of that specific smell of treated hides and workshop dust. It is not a shiny showroom with bright lights. It is more of a working space where things actually get made. We spend most of our time dealing with batches of leather, checking the quality, and making sure everything is handled right. There are scraps on the floor and tools everywhere. It is a bit messy, to be honest, but that is just how a real leather shop looks. We have been at this location for quite some time now. Most of the guys here have been working with leather since they were young. It is not something you learn from a book. You have to touch the material and know how it reacts. We do not do big ads. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth or by just walking past the building. It is a busy street, so there is always something going on outside. Inside, we just focus on the leather. Sometimes the machines are loud, and we have to shout to hear each other. We take the work as it comes. It is a solid living, and we like being part of the neighborhood here. We do not pretend to be anything we are not. We just make what people ask for and try to do a decent job of it.
