La China Grill

La China Grill is located at 63/10/1, Dum Dum Road, right here in the Dum Dum area of Kolkata. Being directly opposite the Indian Art College means we see a lot of students and teachers passing by every day. The street outside is usually busy with people heading to work or the station, and that energy kind of spills into our place too. We have been operating from this spot for a while now, and we have grown used to the constant hum of the traffic and the noise from the road. The kitchen stays quite hot during the lunch hour, and you can usually smell the food cooking from down the block. We don't have anything fancy here, just some tables and chairs and a crew that knows how to handle a rush when the college lets out. It’s a simple setup where the floors get scrubbed every morning and the shutters go up early. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit late because of the traffic on Dum Dum Road, but we manage to get things sorted. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we know the neighborhood pretty well. We spend a lot of time prepping vegetables and keeping the grills going through the evening. It is just a regular local spot where we try to keep things moving and make sure nobody leaves hungry. There isn't much more to it than that, just a small business trying to stay busy in a crowded part of the city.
