Kidzee Playway School

Our location is in Block Dg/3 within Action Area 1 of New Town. It’s a quiet enough corner of Kolkata 700156, though you can still hear the city moving around us. The school itself is a practical space where we handle the daily business of looking after small kids. We have several rooms that are filled with the usual stuff you’d expect, like small chairs and low tables. Every day is pretty much the same in terms of the schedule. We open up, get the lights on, and wait for the parents to drop their kids off. There’s a lot of hand-washing and making sure nobody is sharing their cold or a runny nose. We aren't trying to be anything fancy here; it’s just a place where kids can be kids while their parents are at work. We deal with spills on the floor and the occasional temper tantrum over a toy. The staff spends a lot of time just talking to the children and keeping them occupied with simple things like paper and crayons. Sometimes we take them out for a bit of air if the weather isn't too hot, but mostly we stay inside where it’s controlled. The furniture shows a bit of wear and tear, but that’s normal for a place like this. We just keep things running smoothly and make sure the gate is shut tight during the day. It gets tiring but we enjoy seeing the kids every morning.
