Kautilya Pre School

Kautilya Pre School is tucked away at 47 B, Rippon Street, which is just off the busier parts of Park Street. Since it is a school for little ones, the rooms are mostly filled with small chairs and low tables. We have a lot of plastic bins for the toys and different colored mats on the floor. The walls have some old drawings and alphabet charts that have been there for a while. It is a bit of a maze inside with different sections for play and learning. Rippon Street is a narrow lane, so it can get a bit blocked up when parents are dropping off their children in the morning. We spend our time tied up with small things like helping with shoelaces or opening tiffin boxes. It is a very hands-on job. There is usually a bit of dust because of the construction work always happening nearby in the Park Street area, but we try to keep the floors swept. We don't have any big flashy signs, just a simple entrance. Most of the people around here know us by now. The afternoon is the quietest time when the kids are gone and we sit down to plan the next day. It is just a small pre-school trying to get through the daily routine without too much fuss. We focus on the basics and making sure the kids stay out of trouble while they are here. Every day is a little bit different.
