Kidz Fun & Learn Play School

We have been running this little school on Ram Hari Biswas Ghat Road in Khardah for some time now. It is a local place for the small kids in the neighborhood to spend their mornings. The building is not very big, but we make the most of the rooms we have. You can usually hear the children singing or playing from the street. We get a lot of toddlers from the families living around this part of Kolkata. It's quite a busy spot when the parents are dropping them off or picking them up in the afternoon. Inside, we have some basic toys, some colorful drawings on the walls, and small chairs for the little ones. It is nothing too fancy or professional, just a practical space where they can be kids. We spend most of the day doing simple things like learning the alphabet or playing with blocks. Sometimes the kids get a bit rowdy, but that is expected. The staff here are all locals, so we know most of the parents by name. We don't have a big playground, just a small area where they can move around a bit. It gets quite warm in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We just try to make sure the kids are safe and have something to do while their parents are at work. It is a simple life here in Khardah.
