Kids Nursery & K G School

Kids Nursery & K G School is a bit different because we are up on the 11th floor of Amrit Tower in the En Campus area of Salt Lake. Being in a high-rise means the kids get a very different view than they would in a ground-floor school. We have to be very strict about the elevator and making sure the children are supervised every second they are in the hallways. The space itself is modern since it’s in a newer tower, but inside we try to make it feel like a regular school. We have soft mats on the floors and lots of storage for the kids' bags. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking area to the elevators, so mornings can be a bit of a rush for the parents who work in the nearby offices. We don’t have an outdoor playground, so we do all our physical activities inside the main hall. The air conditioning stays on because the windows don’t open much at this height. It’s a very clean and quiet environment compared to the streets below. We focus a lot on quiet play and drawing. The teachers have to be very organized to make sure the kids get their snack times and potty breaks on schedule since everything is on one floor. It’s a practical choice for parents working in the Salt Lake IT hub who want their kids close by. It can be a little strange being so high up for a school, but we make it work just fine.
