Kids Kingdom Playway School

Kids Kingdom Playway School is located at the Mfc Club on Taratala Road, near Brace Bridge. Since we are part of the club premises, we have a bit more room than some of the schools tucked into narrow lanes. There are some old trees around that give a bit of shade. The building itself is an older style, and you can tell it’s been part of the community for a long time. We use a couple of the large rooms for the classes. It can get a bit chilly in the winter mornings because the rooms are so big, but the kids don't seem to mind once they start moving around. We have a routine that we follow every day. It starts with some light exercise and then we move on to the books. The furniture is simple—just small tables and chairs that have been painted over a few times. We have a lot of kids from the Brace Bridge area coming here. The staff spends a lot of time talking to parents at the gate about how their kids are eating or if they are making friends. It’s not a polished corporate place. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb flickers, but we just get it fixed and carry on. It’s just a normal, everyday school where we try to keep the children occupied and learning something useful. We've been here for years and hope to stay for many more.
