Kids Joy Pre-Primary School

We are located at 23/2/5, K B Sarani. If you know the 700080 area of Kolkata, you know the traffic can get pretty heavy around here. Kids Joy Pre-Primary School has been tucked away in this spot for several years. It is a modest setup, nothing too grand. We have a couple of rooms where the kids spend their time. The furniture is all wooden and has been around for a long time. You can see the wear and tear on the desks where kids have scribbled over the years. We spend our mornings doing the usual stuff, like reciting poems and practicing writing. Some of the younger ones still cry when their mothers leave, so we have to spend time calming them down. It gets a bit humid in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always humming. We don’t have a massive playground, but there is enough space for them to stand in a line for prayers. The staff here mostly looks after the kids like they are our own. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise when the children are singing, but that is just part of having a school nearby. We keep the gate shut tight during school hours for safety. It's a simple life here. We just try to make sure everyone learns their ABCs and goes home with their bags packed properly at the end of the day. It’s a lot of responsibility but we are used to it by now.
