Kids Day Out Play Way & Nursery School has a bit of an unusual location for a kids' school. We are situated in Room No 9 on the 18th Floor of the Chatterjee International Centre at 33 A, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, right in the Midleton Row area of Kolkata. Being way up on the 18th floor of a major office building means we have a pretty interesting view of the city, though the kids are usually too busy playing to notice. It’s a bit of a trip in the elevator every morning for the parents and the staff, and sometimes there’s a wait if the building is busy. Once you’re inside our space, though, it feels like any other nursery. We’ve got the rooms set up with plenty of toys, mats for sitting, and areas for various activities. It’s a bit of a contrast to all the corporate offices in the rest of the building, but it works for us. We’ve been here for a while and have a regular group of children who come in every day. The space is kept fairly simple without too much fuss. We don't have an outdoor playground because of where we are, so we make sure there’s plenty of room to move around inside. It’s a busy place, and we spend most of our time just managing the daily routine and keeping the children occupied. It’s a unique spot to run a school, that’s for sure.
