Kids Corner Primary School

Our little school is tucked away at 11/4 on Vivekananda Road in Kolkata. It is a busy part of town, but we have managed to create a decent spot for the younger kids to spend their mornings. We focus on primary education, so the rooms are usually filled with the sound of children talking and the usual school chaos. The building is older, which is pretty common for this part of Kolkata, but it has a lot of character. We have several classrooms where the kids sit and do their lessons. It isn’t a massive institution, just a local primary school where families from the neighborhood send their children. Most of our staff have been with us for years and they know the parents quite well. We don't have a huge playground, but the kids find ways to stay active during their breaks. Sometimes the street noise from Vivekananda Road comes inside, but we are all used to it by now. The address 700070 is our home base. We keep things simple here. There are no fancy gadgets or high-tech labs, just books, chalkboards, and a lot of patience. Every morning starts with the kids lining up, and the day goes by fast with all the subjects we cover. It is a humble place that feels like a part of the local community. We just do our work and look after the kids until their parents come to pick them up in the afternoon.
