Kiddie Junction Play School

Kiddie Junction Play School sits right in the 11/C Government Quarters in Shanti Nagra Colony. Being near the Barrackpore Trunk Road means there is always that hum of traffic in the background. Rathtala is a crowded spot, so getting in and out during peak hours takes some patience. Our space is tucked away inside the colony, which makes it a bit quieter than being right on the main road. It’s a simple setup. We have some colorful mats and small chairs for the little ones. Most mornings start with parents dropping off their kids on their way to work or the market. You can see the rickshaws lined up outside near the gate. The rooms are basic, just enough space for toys and some drawings on the walls. We don't have fancy air conditioning in every corner, so the ceiling fans are always humming. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows and keep going. The kids are usually too busy playing to notice. It’s a local place for local families. We know most of the parents by name because we see them every single day. By the time noon rolls around, it gets pretty warm and the kids are ready for their naps or to go home. It’s just a normal part of the Shanti Nagra neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that people just know us as the play school near the quarters.
