Kida Paradise Pre School

Kida Paradise Pre School is right on the Main Road in Block B of Bangur Avenue. Being on the main road means there is never a quiet moment. We have the sound of buses and horns coming through the windows all day. It’s a convenient spot for parents who are commuting. The school is set up in a way that makes the most of the space we have. We have different sections for playing and for sitting down to work. The walls have some charts and alphabets stuck on them. They aren't perfectly straight, but they do the job. We have a small gate at the front to keep the kids from running out onto the street. In the mornings, it’s a bit of a scramble to get everyone inside. The staff usually brings their own lunch and we eat together when we can. We don't have any fancy facilities like a swimming pool or a big gym. We just have our rooms and our toys. The kids don't seem to mind. They are busy running around or drawing. When it gets really hot, we give them plenty of water and keep the fans going. The day ends around mid-afternoon. We sweep the floors, lock the cabinets, and head home. It's a very normal, everyday sort of place in a busy part of Kolkata. The gate is painted a bright color which helps people find us among all the other buildings on this road.
