Khwahish Special School

We’ve been running Khwahish Special School at Lokenath Kunj for a while now. It’s tucked away in New Alipur on Jyotish Roy Road. Honestly, most days are just about showing up and doing what needs to be done for the kids. It’s not always easy, especially when the traffic gets bad around the lane, but we manage. People know where we are. We have different rooms set up inside the building at 127 / A /8. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything. Most folks just drop by because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. The school isn't huge, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time just sitting with the students and figuring things out as they come. Sometimes the fans are noisy in the summer, but that’s just how it is in Kolkata. We try to keep things organized but sometimes papers pile up on the desk. That’s just part of running a place like this. If you’re looking for us, we’re right there near the main road but back a bit. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the usual gate. It’s a local place. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep the doors open and do the work day in and day out. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play cricket nearby and it gets a bit loud, but we don't mind. It's just part of being in this part of town. We just keep going.
