The Indian Inst Of Hardware Engineers C O is located at 5A Library Road, which is right near Ganesh Market in Kalighat. It’s a narrow street and can get pretty crowded during market hours. We’ve been set up here for some time now, focusing on computer hardware and fixing things. Our space isn't huge, but it's packed with tools, motherboards, and spare parts that we use for teaching. Sometimes it looks a bit messy with all the wires, but that's just how a workshop is. Students come here to learn how to put computers together and troubleshoot problems. We don't use fancy presentations or anything like that. We mostly just open up a machine and show how it works. It's hands-on. If you walk past the library, you’ll find us easily. The building has that old Kalighat feel to it, which we like. We aren't a big corporate office. It's just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board. People drop by to ask about courses or sometimes just to get advice on a broken PC. We try to be helpful. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a simple life and we enjoy teaching the younger generation how to use their hands to fix technology instead of just throwing it away when it breaks. It's honest work and we keep the doors open for anyone willing to learn.
