Gupi Bagha Restaurant

We have been here at Rajdanga Gold Park for a while now. Most people know us because we are right near Tribarna Sangha, just off the E M Bypass in Kolkata. It is a busy spot but we like the energy of the area. The restaurant is not anything fancy at all. It is just a place to sit down and eat without too much fuss or noise. We open up early in the morning and stay busy until quite late at night. Sometimes the street gets really crowded with cars and bikes, but people still find their way to our door. We try to keep things simple around here. The kitchen stays pretty warm throughout the day because we are always cooking something. We do not have a big corporate team or any professional managers. It is just us doing our thing every single day. You might see some of the same faces here every week. It is nice when the neighbors stop by for a quick bite and a chat. We do not spend much time on the decor, we just make sure there are enough chairs for everyone who comes in. The walls have a few marks here and there and the floor is well-worn from all the people walking through. We don't mind that. It shows the place is being used by real people. We start our work before the sun is even fully up to get things ready for the day.
