Drive Inn Restaurant

You can find Drive Inn Restaurant over at 10 Middleton Street. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has been there for ages. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. 700071 is a busy pin code, so there’s always something happening right outside the front door. We aren’t really into the modern, minimalist look you see in the new malls. The chairs are a bit heavy and the floor has seen better days, but it works for us and our customers. We just focus on getting the food out on time and making sure the tea is hot. Most of our staff have been here for years, so we all know how the kitchen runs without having to talk much. It gets a bit loud when the lunch rush starts and the street noise leaks in. We don’t really have a big website or do much on social media. People usually just find us because they work in the nearby offices or heard about us from a friend. It’s a straightforward setup. We open up the shutters, prep the ingredients, and wait for the first customers. Some days are slow, especially when it rains hard and the street gets messy with mud. But we stay open anyway, just in case someone needs a place to sit. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a restaurant on Middleton Street where you can sit down for a bit. We appreciate the regulars who come in every week. It’s nice to see familiar faces.
