Diamond Caterer has been around Chaltabagan for a while now. We're over at 23/1/3C on Guruprasad Choudhury Lane. Being near Vidyasagar College means there's always something going on nearby. It’s one of those narrow lanes in Beadon Street where you have to know your way around or you’ll get turned around pretty quick. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area. It gets hot, especially during the summer months in Kolkata. We’ve got the 700006 pin code area pretty much memorized by now. Usually, it’s just us trying to keep things moving. The college students walk past every day and the local shops around here all know each other. It’s not a fancy setup. We just handle the food and get it where it needs to go. Sometimes the traffic on Beadon Street makes things a bit slow, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We’ve stayed in this same spot for quite a bit. You can find us right near the college gate. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just see the sign when they're walking through the lane. It’s a busy life here in Chaltabagan, but we’re used to the noise and the constant movement of people. We just keep the stoves going and make sure the orders are packed up. There’s always someone coming in or out. It’s just how the days go by here. We don't have a big team, just a few of us doing the cooking and the packing.
