Dhakai Biryani House

We are right here on the ground floor on VIP Road. If you know the Kaikhali crossing, we’re just a short walk from there. It gets pretty busy around here because of the traffic and the bank nearby, the UBI bank is basically our neighbor. Dhakai Biryani House has been a part of this Mondalgathi area for a while now. Some days it’s quiet, other days we are rushing around trying to keep up. Kolkata 700052 is where we call home. We just focus on getting the food out. You'll see us there in the morning getting things ready before the lunch crowd shows up. It's not a big fancy place, just a regular spot where people stop by when they are heading home or going to work. The VIP road is always loud but inside it’s just us working. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly find us because they live around Kaikhali or they are just passing through the crossing. Sometimes we run out of things early, that's just how it goes. We like being near the bank because it's easy for people to find us. If you're looking for us, look for the Mondalgathi sign. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here. We keep the place clean as much as we can. It’s a lot of work but we stay busy. That’s about all there is to say about us. We’re just a local biryani shop in a busy corner of the city.
