Debonair Restaurant

Debonair Restaurant is located on Jagannath Tewari Road in the Dum Dum area. We are near Gorabazar and the Dum Dum Cantonment, so there is always some activity nearby. Being in North Kolkata, the vibe here is very traditional and a bit crowded. Our restaurant is a simple place where people from the locality come to eat. We don't have any flashy lights or modern decor. It’s just a room with some tables where you can sit and have a meal. The menu is pretty standard for a Kolkata eatery. We have been here for a while and seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The staff is just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s not the kind of place where you’d go for a fancy date, but it’s good for a quick lunch or dinner when you don't feel like cooking at home. The street outside can be quite messy during the rains, but people still make their way in for a plate of food. We don't have any marketing plans or big advertisements. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here and people know where to find us. It’s a straightforward, local business. We keep the floor swept and the food ready. That is about as much as we can manage every day.
