Our place is located at 200 Rash Behari Avenue, right near the corner where it meets Sarat Bose Road. We are very close to Basanti Devi College, which means we see a lot of students and teachers every single day. It is a lively part of Kolkata and there are always people walking past the window. We run things here as a small eatery where people can grab a bite and take a rest from the noise outside. The building itself has been around for quite a while. Inside, we try to keep things comfortable but we do not have a lot of extra space. We are mostly focused on the daily routine of serving food and cleaning up. It gets pretty loud during the lunch hour when the college lets out. We do not have any big corporate backing, it is just us working behind the counter. Most of the time, we are just chatting with the regulars or making sure the supplies are delivered on time. Rash Behari is a busy street so there is always something happening right outside our door. We have got a few tables and a small menu that we have used for a long time. It is just a normal local spot where you can get something to eat without any fuss. We like being part of this neighborhood and seeing the city move by. It is just a simple way to spend the day.
