Boniface Restaurant

Our restaurant is right on Dum Dum Station Road, at number 8/6 on the ground floor. It’s in the Ghughudanga area, which is always humming with people because of the train station nearby. Being so close to the station means there’s a constant stream of folks walking past our door from early morning until late at night. We’re also quite near St Mary’s School, so we see a lot of students and parents around during the afternoon. The ground floor spot makes it easy for people to just pop in when they’re in a hurry. It’s not a very big space, just a typical local eatery where we focus on getting the food ready. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture has seen some use, but it’s a comfortable enough place for a quick meal. We’ve been here in Ghughudanga for a while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, though the station road always stays just as busy. Sometimes the noise from the trains and the traffic outside can be a lot, but that’s just life in this part of Kolkata. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big goals, we just open the shutters every day and start cooking. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where we just do our work and hope the regulars are happy with what they get. It’s a noisy, busy, and honest little shop that serves the local community as they go about their day.
