Beehive Montessori House

It’s usually pretty busy around here on Elgin Road, especially in the mornings when the sun is just coming up over the buildings. Being right near Bhowanipur College means there’s always people moving about. We’ve been at 6D for a long time now. If you walk past, you can usually hear the little ones inside. It’s not a huge place, just a regular house really, but it works for what we do. The rooms are filled with those small wooden chairs and different sets of blocks. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but once the doors are shut, it’s mostly just the sound of kids talking or the staff helping them with their shoes. We don’t have any fancy signs or anything like that. Just a quiet spot where the day goes by with a lot of routine. Some of the parents have been coming to this street for years, even before they had their own children. The hallways are a bit narrow, and there’s always a stray sweater or a lunchbox left behind on a bench somewhere. We spend a lot of time just tidying up after the morning activities. It’s a simple kind of life here. Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani has changed a lot over the years with new shops opening up, but this corner stays mostly the same. We just keep the gates open and wait for the first knock in the morning. It's just a normal house on a normal street.
