Supriyas Homely Food

Kaloor is one of those places in Ernakulam where things never seem to slow down. Our spot is in the Odathekal Trinity Building, right on KK Road. People call it homely food because that is exactly what it is for us. We do not have a massive menu with a hundred things you cannot even pronounce. It is just the kind of food you would eat at your own kitchen table at home. The Trinity building is a well-known landmark around here, so most people find us without much trouble. KK Road is usually packed with buses and cars, so we get a lot of people stopping in just to get away from the heat and the traffic noise for a little bit. We spend most of our day in the kitchen or clearing off the wooden tables. It is a small team here. We know many of our customers by their names since they live in the nearby apartments or work in the local shops. Being in the 682017 area means we see a mix of everyone. We try to keep things steady and predictable for the regulars. There is no loud music playing or fancy decorations on the walls. Just the daily food and the sound of the pressure cooker going off in the back. It is a practical place for people who want a real meal.
