Floret Food Court

Our place is tucked right in Edapally, just a short walk from Changampuzha Park. It’s a busy little corner of Ernakulam, especially being right next to the 9-10 Super Market. We see a lot of people carrying their grocery bags past our door every day. The kitchen gets going pretty early because there is always a lot of prep work to do. We share the space with a few different stalls, so it can get a bit loud and crowded when the lunch rush hits. We try to keep the tables clear, but sometimes people linger with their tea. The park across the way brings in families on the weekends, and you can hear the traffic from the main road all afternoon. We don’t have any fancy curtains or anything like that. It’s just a practical setup with plastic chairs and some fans to keep the air moving. Most of us have been working here for a while and we know the delivery guys by name. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and everyone crowds inside to stay dry. We just keep serving and cleaning until it’s time to pull the shutters down at night. It is just a normal food court where you get what you need without any fuss. The supermarket next door is always a good landmark if people get lost looking for us. We spend a lot of time making sure the napkins and spoons are stocked for the next morning rush.
