Royal Malabar Foods P Ltd is situated at Plot No 10 in the CSEZ at Kakkanad. Being inside the Special Economic Zone means there is a lot of security and rules we have to follow just to get into work every day. The plot is a decent size and we use every bit of it for the food business. It’s a busy area with a lot of other companies nearby, so there is always a sense of hustle. Our facility is mostly dedicated to production and storage. We don't have a big fancy storefront or anything because that’s not really what we do here. The morning starts with checking the inventory and making sure the staff is ready for the shift. It can get quite humid in Kakkanad, which makes the work even more tiring some days. We’ve been here for a long time and have seen the zone grow and change. The lunch breaks are usually quick because there is always a truck waiting or a deadline to meet. It’s a very functional space with a lot of stainless steel and concrete. We don't spend money on expensive decor; we just keep the place clean and running. People around here know us as the food place on Plot 10. It’s just a group of us working hard to make sure the orders get out the gate on time for our customers.
