Sree Lakshmi Catering Services

We operate Sree Lakshmi Catering Services out of our place at Santhibhavan Apts, right near the Ernakulam College area on Amman Kovil Cross Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. Being based in an apartment complex means we have to be pretty organized with our space and how we move things in and out. We’ve been at this for a while now, mostly helping out with local events and student gatherings near the college. It’s a lot of work, keeping track of different orders and making sure the kitchen is running right. We usually start our day pretty early when the market opens so we can get what we need. It isn't always perfect; sometimes the traffic on Amman Kovil Road makes things a bit slow, but we do our best to plan for that. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. It's just us in the kitchen making sure the rice is cooked right and the curries have enough salt. We like being so close to the college because the energy there is always high. Most of our regulars are people who live right in the neighborhood or work nearby. We just want to make sure people have good food to eat without making a big deal out of it. It’s just plain, honest work that keeps us busy every day.
