Arabian Feast

Our shop is located at Desabhimani Junction in Kaloor, which is a pretty central part of Ernakulam. We are right opposite the Chemmannur Gold shop, so people find us easily enough when they are out shopping. Arabian Feast is basically a small team of us who enjoy cooking and serving food to the local crowd. The junction is always noisy with traffic and people going to work, and we are right in the middle of it all. We spend a lot of time preparing the garlic sauce and the marinated meats every single day. It is not always easy, especially when the monsoon hits and the roads get flooded, but we keep the kitchen running. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us here in the shop. We try to keep things simple and honest. Some days are better than others, and sometimes we make small mistakes, but we always try to fix them. People come here for the taste of the spices and because it is a convenient spot to grab a bite. We have watched the neighborhood change over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We are just a local business trying to make a living and serve some decent food to whoever walks through the door in Kaloor. It is hard work but we are used to the grind by now.
