National Public School

If you go down Deshabhimani Road in Kaloor, you’ll find us easily enough. National Public School is tucked in near the S I U P School at 44 2876. Ernakulam is always busy, and this street is no different. The mornings are a bit of a scramble with the traffic and buses. We have the standard classrooms you’d expect. It rains a lot here, so we spend a good amount of time making sure the roof doesn't leak and the kids stay dry. The desks are the heavy wooden kind that last forever. We don’t have a massive campus, but we use every bit of the space we have. Teachers are usually busy with notebooks and marking. During the lunch break, it gets quite noisy with everyone talking at once. We’ve been here at this address for quite a while now. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We don't use much fancy tech, just the usual books and boards. It’s about getting the kids through their exams and making sure they know their subjects properly. Sometimes we have a small gathering in the hall for a holiday or a local festival, which breaks the monotony. Life here just follows the school calendar. It’s a straightforward place. No big slogans or anything like that. Just a school in a busy part of town doing what schools do every day for the families.
