Sree Narayana Higher Secondary School

Sree Narayana Higher Secondary School is located on Chittoor Road in Ayyappankavu, Cochin. We are right in the middle of Ernakulam, with the 682018 pin code. This part of the city is always moving, and Chittoor Road can get quite congested during the morning and evening hours. Our school has been a fixture in this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a fairly large building because we have students for both the higher and secondary levels. You’ll see teenagers hanging out near the gates before the first bell rings. Inside, the hallways are wide and the classrooms have high ceilings to help with the Cochin heat. We don't have those fancy glass walls or air-conditioned lobbies you see in newer places. It’s more of an older style of building with wooden desks and big windows. We have a playground, though it’s not huge, where the kids play football or just talk. The staff room is always full of tea cups and stacks of notebooks waiting to be corrected. Being in Ayyappankavu, we are very close to everything in the city. Most of us take the bus or walk to get here. It’s a busy, noisy, and very real place where students come to finish their schooling. There isn't anything corporate about us; we are just a local school doing what schools do in a busy city like Cochin, with all the usual daily chaos and learning that happens in a place like this.
