Sacred Heart High Secondary School

Sacred Heart High Secondary School is situated in Thevara, Ernakulam - 682013. Thevara is a well-known part of the city, and we are right in the middle of it. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people coming and going. The school is a high secondary institution, so we have a lot of students of different ages. The building is quite large because we need to fit everyone in. It has that old Ernakulam feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings in some parts. During the day, the halls are full of students moving between classes. It can get quite loud, especially during the lunch break when everyone is out in the corridors or in the yard. Many of the parents who send their children here went to this school themselves years ago. We have a lot of books and old desks, and there's always something that needs fixing, whether it's a leaky tap or a creaky door. It’s a lived-in place. We just go about our business every day, teaching the lessons and managing the students. It’s a straightforward environment where we prioritize getting through the curriculum without any unnecessary fuss or drama. That’s just the way we have always done things around here.
