Marthoma Public School

Marthoma Public School is situated in Edachira, which is over in the Kakkanad area of Ernakulam. Since we are in 682030, we see a lot of growth happening around us all the time. But inside our gates, it’s still just a regular school. We have the usual rows of desks and blackboards. The staff here are just regular people who live nearby. We don't have any slick presentations about what we do. It’s mostly just making sure the kids show up on time and that the lessons get taught properly. Kakkanad is a busy hub, but we try to keep our little corner organized. You’ll often find teachers sitting together during lunch breaks, talking about the day’s lessons or the kids who are struggling a bit. We don't use any fancy management jargon. If something isn't working, we just talk it out and fix it. The building has been here for years, and it shows a little bit of wear and tear, but that’s because it’s actually used. We have a playground that gets pretty dusty in the dry months. Parents come by to pick up their children and often stop to chat for a minute or two. It’s that kind of place. We aren't a big chain; we are just a school in Edachira doing our best to keep things running smoothly every day of the week. There is always a stack of papers to grade and a few meetings to get through before we can finally go home to our own families.
