Golden Fork Institute For Catering Technology

The Golden Fork Institute For Catering Technology is located in Jilly Towers. We are right across from the Golden Fork Restaurant at the Palarivattom Bypass Junction in Vennala. It’s a busy location, and having the restaurant right there gives the students an idea of how things work. We focus on teaching people the ins and outs of the catering world. It’s a lot of hands-on work. We spend most of our time in the kitchens or the training dining rooms. We show people how to prep food, manage a kitchen staff, and handle large events without losing their heads. It’s hard work and it gets hot in the kitchen, but that’s the reality of the business. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just cooking, cleaning, and organizing things. The building itself is a standard office block, but inside we’ve got it set up with the stoves and equipment needed for catering. Students come here because they want to work in hotels or maybe start their own food businesses later on. We just give them the tools and the knowledge to do that. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We’ve been here for a while and most of the locals know the spot by now. If you want to learn how to cook for a crowd or manage a banquet, this is where we do it. It stays busy, especially when we have exams.
