Black Magic Restaurant & Bar

You can find Black Magic Restaurant & Bar on Jogiwara Road in Mcleod Ganj. We are just a short walk from the Post Office here in Dharamshala. The air is thinner up here, and the weather changes fast, which keeps things interesting. We have been running this place for a while, dealing with the tourists and the locals who live in the mountains. It is a bar and a restaurant, so things can get a bit loud in the evenings when people are relaxing. We do not have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the bottles are cold and the food is hot. The building is an older one, like many on Jogiwara Road. We spend a lot of time carrying supplies up the hills because the roads are narrow and difficult for trucks. It is a lot of physical work that people do not always see. Sometimes the electricity goes out when there is a storm, but we just light some candles and keep going. It is part of living in Mcleod Ganj. We are not trying to be a fancy lounge; we are just a spot where you can grab a drink and something to eat. Most days we are just busy cleaning glasses or checking the stock. It is a simple life, and we like being part of the community here. The view outside is nice when the clouds clear up.
