Sita Palace Restaurant

Sita Palace Restaurant is right here in Dharamshala, specifically in the Kotwali Bazar area. We are part of the Sita Palace Hotel, which is located quite close to the main bus stand. It’s always busy around here because of all the people coming and going from the buses. You can hear the engines and the conductors shouting from the street. Our place is simple. We have some tables set up for anyone who needs a meal after a long journey up the hills. The weather here changes a lot, so some days it’s foggy and other days the sun is bright on the street. We mostly serve people who are staying in the hotel or travelers who just happen to walk past the bazar. It’s not a fancy dining room with white tablecloths or anything. It’s just a room with food. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure the place is clean for the lunch rush. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and watch the traffic near the bus stand. Other times every table is full of people with their bags and suitcases. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We are right in the middle of everything in Kotwali Bazar, so there is always something happening outside the door. It’s a decent spot for a quick bite if you are in the neighborhood or waiting for your bus to leave.
