Himgiri Restaurant

Up here in Naddi, things move a bit slower than down in the main part of Dharamshala. We are Himgiri Restaurant, located inside the Himgiri Resorts. It's a quiet spot, and we get a lot of people who are just staying at the resort or walking through the village. The air is clear, and you can see the mountains when the weather behaves. We’ve been serving meals here for a good while. Our kitchen isn't massive, but we manage. We don't have a fancy printed menu that changes every week. We mostly stick to what we know how to cook well. The 176213 area is a beautiful place to live and work. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get tricky, but we deal with it. It’s a family-run feel here. We don't wear uniforms or have corporate rules. If someone's hungry, we feed them. The tables are wooden and the chairs are simple. People usually come in tired from hiking and leave a bit happier. We aren't trying to win any awards. We just provide food for the folks visiting Naddi. It’s peaceful most evenings, except when the resort is full. If you find yourself near Himgiri Resorts, that’s where we are. It is just a plain, honest restaurant in the hills. We do our best with what we have and keep the doors open for whoever stops by. We’ve been part of this landscape for years.
