Lhamos Croissant

Up here on Bhagsu Road in Mcleod Ganj, things are a little different than the busy cities down below. We are located right on the way to the waterfall, so we see a lot of hikers and travelers every day passing by our windows. Our place, Lhamos Croissant, is a bit of a local fixture in this part of Dharamshala. It is a small, cozy space, and the smell of baking usually fills the air early in the morning before the sun is even fully up. We do not have a big corporate team; it is just a few of us working the ovens and serving the customers who wander in. The road outside is narrow and can get quite muddy when it rains, but people still make the walk up the hill. We have a few tables where you can sit and look out at the green hills if the clouds aren't too low. It is not a polished or fancy cafe. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture is simple wood, but it feels like home to us. We have been here long enough that we know most of the monks and locals who pass by on their daily walk. We focus on making things the way we know how, without trying to be something we are not. Dharamshala is a special place, and being on Bhagsu Road gives us a great view of life in Mcleod Ganj.
