Mcllo Restaurant

You can find us right in the Main Square of Mcleod Ganj. It’s a very busy spot in Dharamshala, especially with all the tourists and people coming up the hills. We’ve been sitting here at this corner for quite some time. The view outside changes with the seasons, but the square is always full of life. We see travelers from everywhere and locals just going about their day. It’s a loud area with cars and people chatting all the time. Our restaurant has been a part of this landscape for years. We don’t try to be something we’re not. It’s just a place to sit down and have a meal while watching the world go by outside the window. The stairs can be a bit steep for some, but that’s just how buildings are built here in the mountains. We handle the rush during the peak tourist months when the town gets packed. It gets cold in the winters, so we try to keep the inside feeling okay. Mcleod Ganj has its own energy, and being right in the center means we are in the middle of everything. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just us and the staff making sure things run. We know the taxi drivers nearby and the other shop owners on the square. It’s a simple life running a kitchen in a place like this.
